Description:The plant is 50-100 cm high, deep-rooted - thick tap roots go to a depth of 3 m or more, the root neck is strongly elongated and penetrates into the soil by 20 cm or more, horizontal long rhizomes with numerous buds depart from it in all directions, giving rise to aboveground shoots. The stem is branched, finely fluffy, usually strongly leafy in the upper part. Leaves are nonparticular, with 5-12 pairs of oval or oblong leaves, covered on both sides with small pressed whitish silky hairs. The flowers are white or slightly yellowish-cream, collected in terminal, dense, many-flowered inflorescences.
Habitat:at roads, on waste grounds and deposits, in gardens, on plains and in foothills, preferring more or less saline soils.
